Johnny's expression matched that of both Jack and Roy, they were all dumbfounded.
"I know this is a shock to all of you. I was certain that the tests would confirm that Jack was Roy's father, but...." Dr. Brackett shook his head in confusion, "This doesn't make any sense at all. I mean, I can see the remarkable resemblence between Johnny and Jack."
Johnny didn't know whether he should laugh or cry. All this time the man he'd called dad was now not his father at all.

Alex Masters had earlier in the week turned Terry Lane over to authorities. That had only explained one small series of events in Johnny's supposed accidents.
I wonder if he know's now? Alex thought to himself as he walked through the corridors of Rampart. He thought back to his ealier conversation with Doctor Brackett.
"I know this sounds unethical to you Doctor, but we have to protect Johnny. Even if we have to fudge the test results."
"But that will hurt him even more," Brackett replied as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration.
"I know it will, but he'll forgive us for doing this. Remember that mistake you found on his chart a month ago while he was still in ICU. I mean everyone in this hospital knows Johnny is allergic to Penicillin, so how do you suppose such a mistake had made it's way to his chart."
Brackett nodded in understanding, "I suppose your right. I mean that in itself could have killed Johnny."
"True, so someone has such a grudge that they would be willing to commit murder."

Joyce Stanley shot daggers at the man standing on the opposite side of the gravesite. How could he bother to show his face here! she thought angrily. He had the power to save poor Alica, but instead he let her die and for what reason? One of his men was trapped in an elevator shaft. Hank, you'll pay, and that Johnny Gage will pay with you!

Harriet DeSoto sat with Mikey Stoker sitting on her lap, as she hung up the phone. "So, that daughter of mine loves you does she Mikey?" Harriet threw her head back and laughed evilly.
She picked up the phone again making another phone call, "Hello, Joanne... Is Roy there?" She purred. Her face changed as she looked at she looked at the picture of her son.
Instead of answering Joanne she slammed the phone down. He knows. Her face drained of all color, He knows that Jack is his father!

Alex Masters had found a lead, Sharon Walters Stoker. How does she fit into this picture, he asked himself as he headed for the Hall of Records.
Entering the building he searched the birth records until he found what he was looking for. "She can't be," he muttered to himself as he pulled the birth certificate. He made a copy of the record and placed the original back into the file. I've got to show this to Jack, but especially Roy.
