CB sat at a table in the far corner of the cafeteria, regaling Brice's least favorite collegue Johnny Gage, with childhood stories of his twin brother Craig.
Laughing, CB took a huge bite of his cheeseburger, stuffed a few fries in his mouth and continued with his story. "Even when we were kid's," he paused a moment to chew, "he'd starch and iron his t-shirts and boxers and hang them up in the closet." He picked up his malt and slurped noisily.
"Oh man," Johnny remarked with a grin and a mouthful of food. He cautiously extended a hand, attempting to feel around the table for his malt.
"Your malt is right here at ten o'clock, Johnny," CB offered and then glanced warily around the cafeteria. How could you not like this guy? He wondered to his alter. Because he's barbarian. Brice answered back, complacently.
"Thanks," John replied and picked up his malt, also slurping loudly. "You two are so different, it's kinda hard to believe you're even related."
CB looked at his new friend with admiration. "Ya know Johnny, when we get outta this place we should get together sometime and do something."
"That's a great idea! Maybe we could even go out and pick up some chicks!" John added with a grin and a waggle of his eyebrows.
Out of the corner of his eye, CB just happened to catch a glimpse of the person he'd been keeping an eye out for. Damn! DeSoto! "Uh...Johnny, I have to make a quick phone call, be back in a flash!" He swiftly maneuvered himself toward the exit, hoping that Johnny's partner didn't notice him.
"Johnny!" Roy shouted, finally catching sight of his dark haired partner. He hurried over to the table. "Where...how the hell did you get down here? I've been looking all over for you! What are you trying to do, give me a heart attack?"
John smiled, fixing his gaze in the direction of Roy's voice. "I'm okay, Pally. I just wanted something decent to eat." He fumbled around his plate for a french fry.
Roy let out a sigh of relief and sat down. "Johnny, if you wanted to come down here, I would have brought you."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you." John said ruefully.
"I know, I know. I'm just glad you're okay. How the heck did you get here anyway?"
"Well, remember Brice's twin brother? He came into my room and introduced himself and asked if I wanted to get something to eat. So, I pushed him in his wheel chair and he told me which direction to go," Johnny explained. "He's a pretty cool guy, Roy."
"Brice has a twin brother?" Roy asked, raising an eyebrow skeptically.
"Yeah, he said that you two met in the elevator. Do you see him anywhere?" John suddenly looked puzzled. "I thought he'd be back by now."

CB whistled tunelessly as he wheeled himself down the long hallway in search of a certain person. He slowed as he approached the nurses station, thinking it odd that the place seemed deserted. He wondered where everyone was. Popping a wheelie, he turned himself around and was cheerfully heading back for the elevator when he heard a woman scream.

"HELP! SOMEBODY!" Dixie screamed, hurling a pitcher of water at the advancing intruder. "I mean it Mitz, get away from me!" If I'm gonna go...I'm gonna go kicking and screaming! In spite of her weakened condition, Dixie was preparing herself for a fight, when the door to her room suddenly flew open.
Mitzi turned in time to see a man in a wheel chair barrelling toward her. Caught off guard, she was unable to move out of the way as CB slammed into her, causing her feet to fly out from under her. She landed in a heap, on the hard tiled floor.
"STRIKE!" cheered the triumphant alter personality of Craig Brice.
