Part 37 
"He must have knocked me out! When I regained regained consiousness, I found the two of them lying there, just like that!" Alica exclaimed, nearly hysterical.
This doesn't make sense! Nick immediately found and pressed the nurses call button. "Isn't this thing supposed to buzz or something?" he asked, turning toward Alica.
Alica was now kneeling on the floor, rocking back and forth and stroking Johnny's face. "We could have been so happy together," she said dreamily.
"Miss! I need you to get a doctor or a nurse!" shouted Nick.
Alica didn't respond. She just continued to rock back and forth,
humming softly and running her fingers through Johnny's hair.

Tom Dwyer set his H.T. on the table and took a drink of his coffee. "I'm sorry Dix, I just don't understand this obsession you seem to have with Cap. Why can't you just forget about him and concentrate on us?"
"Tom, we have the rest of our lives to be together. This is just something that I have to do. Please, just be patient a little while longer," she pleaded.
Dwyer sighed and then smiled. "Okay, I'll try, but only because I love you so much."
Dixie glanced around, making sure nobody was watching them and then
smiling, she leaned closer to him. "You know I feel the same way
about you," she said softly, taking ahold of his hand. Now, how
to keep Kel from mentioning anything to Kent?

Mike Stoker waited patiently on one knee, for an answer.
"Oh Mike! This is all happening so fast," cried Sharon. She paused for another moment, gazing first into the brilliant blue eyes of Mike and then into the almost identical blue eyes of her son. She took a deep breath and felt a wave of confidence. "O-Okay!" she exclaimed, then smiled at Mike. "Yes, I will! I mean...I do!"
Mike stood up and gently kissed her on the lips. They both looked over at the judge, who sighed and rolled his eyes. "I now pronounce you man and wife," he flatly recited and then began ushering them towards the door.
"Wait a minute?" asked Mike. "Don't we get a certificate or papers or anything?"
"You should receive them in 7 to 10 working days," the judge answered
impatiently. He opened the door and nudged them out into the hallway.
He looked around at the other waiting couples seated there.
With another sigh and roll of his eyes, he called out, "Next!

Joanne DeSoto relaxed in her hospital bed. She was trying to fall
asleep, but had entirely too much on her mind. She thought back to
the day Johnny had seen the photo of Roy's father. Johnny seemed
so sure that it was his father in ghe photo! I just wonder?
Could Harriet be lying? Would she really stoop that low? Joanne
kept going over the details in her mind, looking for some clue that she
may have missed. She is definately lying about something!
Joanne concluded, with disgust. I never could stand that woman!

Dr. Brackett and Roy rounded the corner into Johnny's hospital room. They both stopped suddenly, taking in the horrific scene before them. "What is going on in here?" demanded Brackett.
Roy 's gaze instantly fell on Alica Lane. "You!" he shouted, rushing towards her. "Get your hands off of him!" He yanked her up by the arm and pushed her away from his partner.
